$1 Beer Night: Bunny, Ruins, Wage

$1 Beer Night is a weekly concert series that makes going out to hear great music more affordable.

The brainchild of Jessica Viscius, Bunny toes the bleary line between dream pop and bedroom rock. Their tunes take on a soft grunge feel, mixing dainty, pretty melodies with hazy, sardonic lyrics and juxtaposing the music with a dramatic stage presence.

A tender journey for the soul, Florida-born, Illinois-bred Ruins delivers heartfelt soft bedroom rock for the wanderers at heart. With his debut singles, What You Are’ and Going Blind’, Ruins reassures us we’re not the only ones out there searching for more. Join us in celebrating the release of Ruins’ new EP, 2“, out October 10th via Fine Prints.

WAGE (Daniel Luedtke and Ana Raba) trades in a special blend of damaged no wave weirdo art pop, stalking synths sequences, dance-able rhythms and giant hooks– folding the obscure into the approachable with chaotic precision. Their newest release, Life as Surplus“, is out now via Fine Prints.

Show and venue bar are CASH ONLY.

Everyone is here to have a good time, so let’s make sure we take care of each other. Please help us keep Sleeping Village safe for everyone by taking a moment to read our Code of Conduct.
