Join us on Sunday, April 28th for the First Annual Support Staff Fundraiser! Support Staff is a newly established branch of Hope For The Day, run by hospitality professionals, that focuses on challenges facing the food and beverage industry which include but are not limited to: mental health challenges, social pressures, overexertion at work, lack of healthcare resources, and substance abuse.
As a community, we’ve experience tremendous loss in the past few years, whether it be from suicide completions, or complications with substance abuse, it’s time to do something about it. Support Staff’s mission is to sustain our industry by taking care of the people who create it. Support Staff is a community of hospitality professionals working to create a dialogue that eliminates the stigma surrounding mental health, encourages moderation, and supports sobriety. We are working to continue to have these uncomfortable conversations because they are necessary to create change, and continue to improve our industry.
While Support Staff is about tackling the hard-to-talk-about issues, we’re flipping the switch for our first fundraiser, and inviting you into the comfort zone with a bangin’ house party! Join us for a night of comedy, dancing, games, and a few surprises! Ticket price includes Altos tequila cocktails, wine, beer, and food.
