Sweet Bike, Strawberry Boy, Bottom Bracket

Sweet Bike is a four-piece indie outfit featuring guitarist and vocalist Chris Armstrong, guitarist and vocalist Jake Hallstrom, bassist Garrett Shafer, and drummer Danny Behrens. 

Influenced by emo and punk heroes such as Fugazi, Algernon Cadwallader, and Bomb the Music Industry, Sweet Bike combines driving drums with heavy riffs that pull from a variety of playing styles to create a dynamic sound that sits in its own space in the booming Chicago DIY scene.

After three years of shredding, 2023 will see the release of their debut album “Ode to Coty,” which expands the singular rock energy of their live performances with shades of post-punk, noise rock, math rock, and metal.

Strawberry Boy are a dreamy indie rock band from Chicago, an orchestra of carefully arranged trauma and magic to shine to in the springtime, to fade to in the winter.

Bottom Bracket are a 3-piece outfit from Chicago that is unapologetically emo, with twinkly, guitar riffs, open tunings and self-reflective vocal performances. In their songs, the band evokes feelings of young love, nostalgia and growing up too fast – like a bike racing out of control down a steep hill where the brakes just might save you from wiping out.
