Black Joe Lewis is the realest motherfucker there is. When Covid sidelined his touring this past year, he started laying concrete to help support his baby mama and his kid. That’s fuckin’ real. When Joe and his band, the Honeybears, popped onto the national stage over a decade ago, many critics embraced him but still, there were some that maintained that they hadn’t paid their dues. Joe’s still here. Still going. Still cashing checks and snapping necks. The dues of hard work; the delirious heights of the industry as well as the disappointments and low hanging fruit.

Minor Moon’s Sam Cantor writes resonant journeys into songs. The Chicago-based musician has mined the pastoral and rollicking sounds of cosmic country for contemplative and thrilling songwriting, conjuring up engaging Neil Young grooves, eye-opening atmospherics, and a healthy amount of Midwestern twang.

Meg and the Wheelers are a rising neo-traditional honky tonk band in the Chicago country and western scene. Hailing from Missouri with a crooner of a dad and bluegrass queen of an aunt, front-woman Megan Sampson was born, raised and surrounded in country music. Inspired by Loretta Lynn and Margo Price, Meg writes songs about modern ideas while still being rooted in a crisp vintage tone. The Wheelers are a group of talented musicians who specialize in a big country sound.
