Cave In has explored many sounds since 1995. Final Transmission (2019) was the first studio recording in 10 years. This album was a bittersweet affair, as the first  without bassist/vocalist Caleb Scofield who passed away a year prior. It was through healing that the band began playing music again.

Cave In released New Reality this March – the first taste of their follow up album Heavy Pendulum, set to release this May. “Cave In’s been around for over 25 years now, and the time has come for an album that scales all of our creative peaks,” frontman Stephen Brodsky commented. “Talk about a wild and weird ride! New lineup, new label, new album … a new reality, indeed, and it all adds up to a new lease on life for Cave In.”

Author & Punisher is an industrial doom and drone metal, one man band utilizing primarily custom fabricated machines/controllers and speakers called Drone/Dub Machines. The devices draw heavily on aspects of industrial automation, robotics and mechanical tools and devices, focusing on the eroticism of the interaction with machine.

Djunah spotlights the talents of frontwoman Donna Diane, who pulls triple duty, simultaneously playing guitar, singing, and pulverizing a Moog bass organ with her foot. Drawing a broad range of comparisons from Diamanda Galás to Melvins, Djunah pairs Diane’s powerful, unrestrained vocal style with heavy guitars and punishing drums courtesy of Jared Karns (Their/They’re/There, Hidden Hospitals).

Their first album, “Ex Voto,” has been hailed as “an angular noise rock escalator run on power and beauty … a record that should be heard by all music lovers, no matter what scene you are a part of” (CVLT Nation). Everything Is Noise raves, “Seismic guitar … 100% pure emotion … You gotta see it to believe it.”
