Cusp was formed in 2019 in Rochester, NY, after friends in the bands Rut and Full Body 2 (fka Full Body) went on an East Coast tour and decided to join forces. Since their initial EP release in 2020, the band has toyed with a variety of genres and sounds, from indie rock to synth pop and back again. Cusp just made their move to Chicago and their current lineup is as committed as ever to their mission of spreading fun, fuzz and friendship wherever they happen to be.

With colorful pop melodies and a 90’s guitar driven sound, Laveda is “a young band with a fully realized voice and perspective” (Look At My Records!). Their debut album What Happens After has continued to attract attention from people around the globe since it’s release in 2020. The band’s second full-length album is nit anticipated early next year (2023).

For Chicago-based musician Sarah Jane Quillin, Desert Liminal is a vehicle for experimental songwriting that seeks to marry elements of narrative poetry, melodic dream pop, shoegaze textures, and noise. A first listen of Glass Fate, Desert Liminal’s first release on Whited Sepulchre Records, reveals an astute ear for creating warm, engaging art-pop that entwines Quillin’s eliding delivery around smart hooks and introspective melodies.
