Billy Joel Jr. is a Chicago Indie Rock band fronted by songwriter Ari Levin with bandmates Charlie Burke Dykstal, Nate Perez, and Charlie Cook. Formed in 2022, the band has performed their brand of indie sleaze music across Chicago, with notable shows at Chop Shop, Reggie’s, Hungry Brain, and a handful of DIY spaces. Their songs pull inspiration from elements of stumbling through love, fleeting friendships, and post-war Berlin graffiti. Taking inspiration from Chicago Rock groups like Smith Westerns and Twin Peaks, the first musical release features three of their most popular tracks from the DIY scene. They hope to continue playing music, writing new songs, and making their dad (Billy Joel) proud.

Chicago band All Weather Sports designs a classic indie rock structure that glows with the restless of dreampunk. Electric ukuleleist Sarai Warner, bassist Liz Jenson, guitarist Connor Mahern and drummer Reuben Gifford make music that revisits the gut-punch of adolescence and stumbles through the winding bike path of adulthood, performed in both singsong and scream. At the core of the sound is an eagerness to wiggle, evolve and bop throughout life despite the new and reflective tremors.
