Family Junket is the collective voice of Chicago-based musicians Alejandro Gallardo, Clarence Young, Rahila Coats, Scott Daniel, Hasani Cannon, and brothers Zach, Jonah, and Max Lazarus. They are social workers, teachers, dancers, activists, writers, photographers, performance artists, and engineers coming together to create healing spaces, community, and parties.
Kopano is a multidisciplinary cultural worker and creative from Southside Chicago, Illinois. They began studying music at four years old and grew into composition and performance at the age of fourteen. In 2017, they debuted their first political performance art piece entitled “Black Women Spectra” at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Earlier that year, they released their first project “Just In Time For Love”, speaking to the various forms intimacy and love can inhabit.
Black Seinfeld is composed of Chicago-based rappers and partners Malci (1/4 of WHY? Footclan) and Fluidi-G (WHY? Footclan affiliate). The duo approach art as equal parts confession and inventiveness, relying on lyrical imagery and immersive atmosphere to balance ever-shifting life perspectives. Malci, who began rapping and creating beats mainly in 2015, has played a critical role in Chicago’s DIY scene, releasing multiple projects on Bandcamp and various streaming platforms.
