True Loathing is a songwriter and performer hailing from the Chicago DIY scene. Starting out in 2017, TL’s first two singles were released on Bandcamp. After a nearly four and a half year hiatus, the artist came back with the single  “Can’t You Show Me” in February of 2021 which cemented the chimey, groove-driven post-punk sound of the project.
