$1 Beer Night! **Madame Reaper** is the brainchild of singer Kira Leadholm. She owns a strip club—Madame Reaper's Gentlemen's Club—where the employees murder lewd customers. This fictional backstory encompasses the absurdity, camp, and social considerations of the Madame Reaper project, which critiques gender power imbalances in the music industry and society at large. Backed by the Gentlemen's Club—Kevvy Sheppard on guitar, Garen Hudson on keys, and Austin Myers on bass—Madame Reaper delivers a raucous live set inspired by '80s synthpop. **KILL SCENES** is the Chicago based project of multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer Sean Whittaker and vocalist Meghan Lamb. Whittaker’s music combines pop hooks, cinematic soundscapes, electronic abrasion, and searing, melodic guitars while Lamb’s vocals layer vulnerability, beauty, aggression, sensuality, and terror. The result is a beguiling combination of The Cure, Depeche Mode, and Tangerine Dream fronted by an unholy conflation of Siouxsie Sioux, Kate Bush, and Diamanda Galás. MASQUE, their fourth album, coils minimalism and grandeur with a Lynchian interrogation of identity, power, possession, transformation, and destruction. **Cloudtone** strives to conjure cohesive sounds from the disparate perspectives of its constituent members. The group endeavors to follow their own artistic curiosity - otherwise agnostic to their past creative decisions.
