READY FOR DEATH is a Chicago-based death / thrash unit comprised of current and former members of Pelican, Racetraitor, Indecision, Annihilus, Luggage, and a legion of other hardcore, punk, and black metal bands.

Their self-titled debut album on Translation Loss Records roared into existence in December 2022, and the following year saw Ready For Death share stages across the eastern U.S. with notables like Wraith, Yatra, Dark Angel, Sunn O))), Escuela Grind, Thou, Immortal Bird, and dozens more.
