Sol y Soul, presented by oddCouple & Pachanga, is a low frills, high vibes experience that celebrates the intersections of Latinx, Black, and African cultures through music, food, art, and community.

Pachanga provides an avenue to share the work of hispanic artists, musicians and Chicago culture. Its channels of communication include events and quality content broadcasting for first, second, third generation hispanics. In 2017 what started as an underground party, became one of Chicago’s largest communities for music, art, and dance with monthly parties; demonstrating the spirit of Mexican Pueblos Mágicos fused with the sounds and flavors of Latin America.

oddCouple is a Chicago-based, multi-faceted producer, songwriter, DJ, and music director known for his blending of sounds to redefine genres and blur lines. Mixing a vibrant sonic palette of pure gospel energy, triumphant hip hop drums, smooth R&B textures, and avant-garde electronic tones, oddCouple’s music and production has created a sub-genre of its own. With credits ranging from Jamila Woods, Chance The Rapper, and Joey Purp, to music direction for Oprah Winfrey, Samsung, and others, oC’s established a sound and energy as unique as his persona.

Kweku Collins is producer, singer, song-writer, and rapper from Evanston, Illinois. Raised in a musical family, he picked up drumming early, joining his father on stage to perform at schools and festivals. At the age of eight, Kweku was gifted a four track tape recorder by a friend that would act as a catalyst for his fascination with production. From there, he went on to record experimental sounds and songs that eventually turned into mixtapes he passed out around in high school. After gaining some buzz with these tapes, Kweku went on to release his 2015 debut EP ‘Say it Here, While It’s Safe’, the 2016 follow up ‘Nat Love’ LP, and ‘grey’ in 2017. While Kweku continues to play shows and festivals around the world, he is currently hard at work on his next full length LP.
