p1nkstar creates a world far removed from this dimension’s binaries through music and conceptual shows, merging hyperpop with neo-perreo and club. She has been described as “early Aughts Paris Hilton on Hello Kitty steroids” by The Austin Chronicle, who crowned her as their Pop Princess in 2020. Since 2016, p1nkstar has rapidly become an emblematic figure in the Texas arts and nightlife scenes by opening inclusive spaces that center the work of trans and queer artists.

Agua de Rosas is a Chicago and Milwaukee based event and DJ collective formed in 2018. The group specializes in curating alternative Reggaetón parties that highlight and uplift BIPOC, Latine, Femme, and Queer artists from the global club community. Their mission is to celebrate the power and magic of Reggaetón by showcasing its many evolutions and imaginings. Agua de Rosas shapes the Midwest’s latin club scene and links niche and emerging talent closer to home. Its members are resident DJs and artists: Julio Córdova (J. Córdova) Gabriela Riveros (DJ Aguara’i) and Karen Valencia (karennoid). 

Inspired heavily by L.A.’s underground music scene, queer culture, internet dj collectives/labels, Los Angeles native, Miami based DJ, XTRANJERA, channels her unique blend of perreo, electronic and club rhythms to take her listeners on a unique journey through sound.
