Formed last Summer, the courts spent their first year releasing singles and bringing their live show to audiences in Chicago and across the Midwest. Now, 3 months after their tour with Brazilian psych-rockers—Oruã, and 6 months after their most recent release, the courts are back with new music.

Don’t Let It Melt You, the band’s new single, is out on Friday, September 1st, accompanied by a new music video and a Single Release Show at Sleeping Village. The band will be joined by Indianapolis’ premier heavy rock outfit—Cairo Jag and Chicago’s noise pop legends—Astrobrite on Thursday, August 31st, a thing to experience for fans of shoegaze, psychedelia, and noise.

Cairo Jag is a heavy psych rock and roll band from Indianapolis, IN. Forming in 2017, they quickly became a local staple in Indianapolis’ eclectic music scene. Overlapping influences that derive from punk, rock, soul and psychedelic music from the past and present, they’ve created their own brand of unhinged rock music.
