Modern Nun is a lesbian rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The band is fronted by Edie McKenna and accompanied by Lee Simmons on guitar and Haley Webster on drums. Over the past two years, Modern Nun has formed a loyal fan base with their captivating lyrics and catchy instrumentals. The band will be releasing their debut EP ‘Name’ January 7th, 2022.

Discus is the Chicago writing and recording outlet for Jake and Paul Stolz (also of Varsity, Pool Holograph, and Central Heat Exchange). The Stolz brothers exhibit a plastique routine between guitar arrangements they’ve formed over the many years spent playing together since their early teens in Oak Park. These days, the two write, perform, practice, and record constantly between four bands, yet they’ve managed to harvest and retain a style that exudes tenderness, nostalgia, and hypnotic cantor. The songs they create are these beautiful bruised little secrets that almost reveal themselves before disappearing again.

Owney is the personal project of Paddlefish’s Owen Misterovich. Their new album “Are You Ready For The Birds??” sounds like a noise-pop-tronic-rock combustion of psychedelia, along with the occasional sad-synth-folk number.
