$1 Beer Night:
pinc louds, bodega bodega
$1 Beer Night is a weekly concert series that makes going out to hear great music more affordable.
Pinc Louds’ lead singer, Claudi, moved from Puerto Rico to NYC in 2015 to fulfill her dream of playing in the subway. Through the literal underground she met the many creatures, musicians and artists that would turn Pinc Louds into the full-blown spectacle they are today. Their passionate shows with wild theatrics and giant puppets have been packing NYC venues such as (le)Poisson Rouge, Elsewhere, Joe’s Pub, and Knitting Factory ever since.
With members hailing from Chile (Rai Mundo, drums), Israel (Ofer Bear, bass), NY (Marc Mosteirin, keyboard and bass guitar) and Puerto Rico (Claudi, kalimba, guitar & vocals), Pinc Louds draws influences from such diverse artists as Pixies, Billie Holiday, Daniel Johnston and Ismael Rivera. Doowop-crooners? Tropical-punk? In essence, they are a rock band. Gritty, sincere and thrilled to be alive.
Everyone is here to have a good time, so let’s make sure we take care of each other. Please help us keep Sleeping Village safe for everyone by taking a moment to read our Code of Conduct.
Venue bar is CASH ONLY.
