Growing up in Birmingham, AL Ryan Hadarah was immersed in a world of musicians by the likes of her late father, whose untimely death would prove to be a catalyst for Ryan’s early guitar demos. Hadarah’s undiscriminating musicality pulls no punches as she mixes cinematic country with moody and psychedelic pop stylings. Boasting a six-piece backing band, Hadarah presents sultry tunes about heartbreak and loss, dubbing her work as songs for lonely hearts.
Vinyl Palace is a synth-pop outfit formed in Chicago of 2020 by Alfonso Mayen and Taylor Rizzo. The pair make dark, danceable tracks with retro undertones. Vinyl palace began as Taylor’s first solo project, but expanded to include Alfonso just before the spring 2020 lockdown. Since his involvement, the project has evolved to include elements of synth-wave, new wave, and indie electronica. The band’s fourth single ‘White Lies’ from their upcoming EP Die For Me is set to debut with accompanying music video this fall.
