Precocious Neophyte is the shoegaze/dreampop project of South Korean singer-songwriter Jeehye Ham. She brings experiences from the Korean post-rock and noise rock scenes to her home recording projects in Chicago.
Basically Nancy is an alternative trio based out of Savannah, GA. The band’s music portrays the experience of being a young woman and the frustrations that come with it. Their self-titled debut album was constructed with no original intent of being heard but rather as a collaborative therapeutic outlet between friends. It is an amalgamation of personal stories touching on topics ranging from love and friendship to dissatisfaction and abuse. They’re currently in the works of their second album.
Dreamend is the main musical output of Ryan Graveface, owner of Graveface Records and Terror Vision Video. He also contributes musically to Beachy Head (members of Slowdive, Flaming Lips), Casket Girls, The Marshmallow Ghosts and used to play in Monster Movie and Black Moth Super Rainbow. Graveface is celebrating 20 years of releasing albums with a series of shows at Sleeping Village in Chicago in addition to a bunch of incredible releases that will be announced on September 1st.
