Salami Rose Joe Louis is a multi-instrumentalist female producer from California & a signee to Flying Lotus’s independent label Brainfeeder. Drawing influences from jazz, soul, hip-hop, pop, Shuggie Otis, Captain Beefheart, Stereolab, & R. Stevie Moore, she creates a blend of experimental dreamy sounds with jazz influenced vocals & keys. Drawing from her studies in planetary sciences, she creates a unique experience filled with space inspired sounds & galaxy chords. Her debut album was nominated for 2020’s best album at the Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards. She had the honor of joining Flying Lotus’ Flamagra Tour, the Cinematic Orchestra’s European tour, Toro y Moi’s “Outer Peace Tour”, TuneYards US tour August, & supported acts Clairo, MNDSGN, Homeshake, & Still Woozy.

Hannah Frances is a vocalist, guitarist, composer, & poet that NPR’s Ann Powers calls “a stunning vocalist & songwriter, making monumental & mythic freak folk,” & was awarded Pitchfork’s Best New Music for her album Keeper of the Shepherd. Through cutting lyricism & astute fingerpicked polyrhythms, Frances’ perennial sound melds avant-folk, progressive rock, & jazz. There is no singular way Frances grips us with her guitar or her storytelling, her voice is colossal in its strength: piercing, warm, & always poised to embrace, even in its quietest expression. Whether performing as a solo act or with her full seven-piece ensemble, her mythology spellbinds with an insistent gravity.
